VE testing for all classes of Amateur Radio licenses will be held at the Nacogdoches City/County Emergency Operations Center (EOC) on FM 3314. Click here for directions to the EOC. Doors open at 6:30; tests begin promptly at 7:00.
Currently, applicants need to bring two forms of identification, one of which must be a picture ID. A valid driver’s license is perfect for that. Also bring the original and one copy of your current FCC license (if applicable), and the original and one copy of any CSCE’s you may have from previous exams. The cost of the exam(s) is $15.00 (cash preferred).
The Nacogdoches Amateur Radio Club is an ARRL-VEC licensed testing group. For study materials, you may purchase them from the ARRL’s study materials page or from most any amateur radio supply store. If you have trouble locating study materials, please ask an NARC member for help.
